  CardAnalyzer.com Link User Manual

Installation

The CardAnalyzer.com Link program is easy to install by simply downloading the installer program and following the on-screen instructions. The installation program will create a desktop shortcut and an entry in the "Start menu" from which you can start the CardAnalyzer.com Link program.

Setting up the program

The first time you start the CardAnalyzer.com Link program, the options window will open automatically. In order to use the program, some options must be set:

  • In the "User name" field, enter your CardAnalyzer.com user name.
  • In the "Password" field, enter your CardAnalyzer.com password.

Please note that you can save your login information by checking the "Remember User name and Password" checkbox. By doing this you will not have to enter the above information again, but be aware that it will be possible for other people who have access to your computer to use the program with your account.

  • You must locate the executable for the poker application that you are using. Do this by clicking "Browse". This will open up a file selector dialog, where you will find the executable. For example, if you are using Party Poker, locate the Party Poker installation folder (by default it is "C:\Program\PartyGaming\PartyPoker\" or "C:\Program Files\PartyGaming\PartyPoker\") and select the "RunApp.exe" file.

That's all you need to do! Just click "OK" to apply the settings you entered.

Running the program

When you have provided the required information in the Options window you will be able to run the program. Simply click the "Connect" button and the CardAnalyzer.com Link program will connect to the server.

After it has connected, the program will automatically search for any available tables, provide you with superimposed opponent information, and supply continuously updated information. Please be aware that CardAnalyzer.com Link may need to wait for one or more hands before being able to provide information.

Shutting down the program

You can close the program by clicking on the "close" window icon, or by selecting "Exit" in the file menu.

Advanced settings

The options dialog has two "advanced" settings:

  • Seconds between table information updates: The program contacts the Card Analyzer.com server and checks for new statistics at regular intervals. The time between each check can be selected by this setting. Setting it too high will cause the delay in updating information to increase, while setting it too low will cause a higher CPU load and more communication between your computer and the CardAnalyzer.com server.
  • Seconds between refreshing graphics: The CardAnalyzer.com program superimposes information onto the table created by the poker application. Sometimes the superimposed graphics will not be updated correctly, so they are automatically refreshed at regular intervals. The time between each refresh is selected by this setting. Setting it too high will increase the delay in refreshing the graphics, making it more likely that the graphics may not display optimally on occasion. Setting it too low will cause a higher CPU load, more flickering, and will be more likely to interfere with the poker application's graphics.
